Overview
The Blended Future Project and The Blue House (Dija Henry) created a short documentary and trailer on behalf of The Felege Hiywot Center (FHC) in collaboration with PACE Indianapolis. This piece of media focus on topics of reentry, causes and solutions to crime and recidivism.

The Challenge
To create a short documentary showing on behalf of the Felege Hiwyot Center, in collaboration with PACE, to raise awareness around on the topics of crime, prison re-entry and solutions to recidivism.

THE SOLUTION
We created a storytelling engine. Turning a series of conversations into a strong narrative. Highlighting the personal experiences of the participants and using the film to create avenues for larger conversations.

THE IMPACT
The film was screened on PBS in Indianapolis. Private screenings and discussion groups were held at schools around the area, which included a collaboration with the Mayor’s office. The film brought an additional $200,000 in funding for the organization. The funding was used to create a youth arts and filmmaking program which is going on its 3rd year.
